Infographics for medical personnel
taking care of COVID-19 virus infected patients

Amidst the COVID-19 virus pandemic, many people didin´t have the fortune of being able to stay home and still hang on to their jobs.

I was very fortunate to be able to take care of my health and work from home. When I was asked to make this infographics for a specialized web page for doctors I was thrilled to be able to help.

About the vector illustrations

Some of the vector illustrations used for this design are free vectors from Macrovector.
When I´m asked to create an infographic in a very short period of time I look for ways to collaborate with others. The amount of material available  in vectors for free  it´s amazing. It is important to give credit to the generous designers out there that make this material available.

Editing line drawings

On the next two infographics I was asked to use those specific line drawings for the instructions to make sure it was the right kind of protective gear. Those images had low resolution, they were in .jpg  files, and some had color background. Fortunately,I was able to trace the bitmap and convert to vectors with Inkscape. Then I edited them on Adobe Illustrator to refine some of the details and change the colors.

A-Prevenir. Self-diagnosis program icons

A-prevenir is a project that research scientists at the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education at Ensenada (CICESE) have developed for self-diagnose with the help of a computer program and specialized, easy to use instruments. This icons are custom  made for that program. The logo icon hasn´t been approved yet, but i will upload it here when it is.
If you are interesting on learning more about this project (and know spanish) you can read it here.
